Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Admissions Coordinator/Medical Records Specialist, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will make a meaningful impact on patient care and administrative efficiency. In this vital role, you will manage patient admissions, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure seamless communication between patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy. Duties Facilitate the patient admission process by collecting and verifying personal and insurance information with enthusiasm and professionalism. Maintain and organize comprehensive medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to ensure easy access and accuracy. Review medical documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist patients with understanding medical forms, terminology, and procedures to foster a positive experience. Coordinate with healthcare providers to update patient information, schedule appointments, and manage referrals efficiently. Ensure all medical records are securely stored, properly labeled, and accessible only to authorized personnel in accordance with privacy laws. Support administrative tasks such as answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and processing paperwork promptly. Qualifications Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Point Click Care systems to manage digital medical records effectively. Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret and document patient information. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for maintaining precise medical records. Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations such as HIPAA is a plus. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
