What You Will Do:

The Admissions Evaluator is responsible for proactively facilitating the process necessary for the expedient and accurate admission of students to the University. Essential Responsibilities Evaluates new and in-progress applications and supplemental materials in order to reach an admission decision Communicates and coordinates with applicants for submission of all application credentials Communicates and coordinates with other University departments (enrollment, student finance, faculty) and outside agencies (other institutions, evaluation & testing agencies) as necessary to collect information needed to reach an admission decision Organizes and coordinates application review & transcript evaluation processes with various University departments (i.e. Registrar, Advising, etc.) Utilizes various reports to audit files Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred or some college with significant work experience Minimum of 1 year of experience in Higher Education (preferred) in admissions, advising or another student facing role, strongly preferred Experience with Microsoft office (word, excel, etc.) and familiarity with relational databases (Banner preferred but not required)

Additional information regarding full-time staff benefits can be found here. The salary range of the grade for this position is $18.14 to $24.49 per hour (typical workweek is 37.5 hours). Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
