Job Description

Our trusted client is looking for an experienced ADP Project Manager to guide a major initiative for a manufacturing organization in Troy, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position will coordinate planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment to keep a complex, cross-functional program on schedule and operating smoothly. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership, a structured approach to governance, and the ability to drive progress across payroll, benefits, and HR systems teams.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Partner with internal project leadership to shape and maintain a detailed delivery roadmap, ensuring objectives, milestones, and priorities remain clearly defined.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams by organizing meetings, tracking commitments, and holding teams accountable for deadlines and key outcomes.
  • Direct the full implementation effort involving ADP Workforce Now and ADP GlobalView for a U.S. employee population, overseeing activities from planning through deployment.
  • Manage project scope, timeline, dependencies, and resource needs while adjusting plans as business requirements evolve.
  • Lead data-related implementation activities, including extraction, mapping, validation, system setup, testing coordination, and issue follow-up.
  • Provide structured status reporting to leadership through governance updates, executive summaries, and clear communication of project health.
  • Monitor risks, blockers, and interdependencies across payroll and benefits functions, escalating concerns and driving timely resolution when needed.
  • Support testing readiness, cutover planning, go-live execution, change management activities, and project documentation to promote compliance and operational continuity.
