Adult Day Healthcare RN Administrator

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Adult Day Healthcare RN Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of our adult day health services. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices in adult day healthcare settings Oversee patient care delivery, including assessments, care planning, and coordination with physicians, therapists, and social workers Manage operational functions such as scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize service delivery Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, and state licensing requirements Implement utilization management strategies to maximize patient outcomes while controlling costs Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Facilitate staff training on medical terminology, emergency procedures, and EMR systems to promote continuous professional development Oversee case management activities to support patient transitions across various levels of care such as assisted living, hospice care, or hospital settings Monitor quality assurance metrics and lead initiatives for process improvement within the adult day healthcare program Experience Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; experience in emergency medicine or hospital medicine is highly desirable Extensive nursing background with a focus on senior care, hospice care, or acute care settings including hospital or nursing home experience Demonstrated supervisory or nurse management experience leading multidisciplinary teams in assisted living or adult day health programs Familiarity with healthcare management principles including budgeting, utilization management, and case management strategies Knowledge of medical records systems (EMR/EHR), medical terminology, and compliance standards such as HIPAA is essential Strong understanding of medical records documentation and familiarity with MDS (Minimum Data Set) processes used in long-term care facilities Experience working within high-acuity environments such as Level II Trauma Centers or PICU is advantageous Ability to navigate complex healthcare systems involving home care coordination and hospital discharge planning Join us in shaping compassionate adult day healthcare services by leveraging your clinical expertise and leadership skills.
