reviews $52,663.45 - $85,314.80 a year - Full-time Summary The Adult Drug Court Case Manger (ADCCM) works under the direct supervision of the Court Administrator with general oversight provided by the Drug Court Coordinator and Adult Drug Court judicial officer. The drug courts provide a systematic, coordinated, and interdisciplinary approach to substance abuse treatment in a non-adversarial setting. The ADCCM is responsible for working directly with the individuals participating in the Adult Drug Court (ADC) to help identify their needs, facilitate appropriate referrals to ancillary services and provide timely reports to the drug courts. The mission of the Adult Drug Court is to enhance public safety by reducing drug-related crimes and recidivism and to improve the quality of life of participants by providing substance abuse and mental health treatment. Essential Job Functions Conducts intake for Adult Drug Court (ADC) referrals, including initial drug testing, risk/needs assessments, and substance abuse and mental health screenings. Performs alcohol and drug testing while maintaining proper chain of custody and accurate reporting. Develops comprehensive case plans with the Drug Court team, coordinates referrals to treatment and support services, maintains accurate participant data, records weekly case notes, monitors compliance, and prepares court reports. Works with the Drug Court team to provide incentives for progress and to issue timely sanctions to improve compliance. Ensures full compliance with federal and state confidentiality requirements related to medical, mental health, and substance abuse information. Monitors program performance through data collection and assists the Drug Court Coordinator in evaluating whether services meet participant needs. Participates in team meetings to discuss client compliance, service coordination, and procedural updates. Prepares court dockets based on judicial directives and provides participant progress summaries, including reports from treatment providers and Parole and Probation. Identifies needs for additional resources and collaborates with the Drug Court Coordinator to develop new partnerships with community agencies and service providers. Attends program events such as community activities, service projects, and graduation ceremonies. Exercises confidentiality, sound judgment, tact, and professionalism when interacting with judges, attorneys, court staff, service providers, participants, and the public. Participates in required training. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Available for full-time court schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility for short-notice changes. Skilled in researching and interpreting case law, statutes, and rules relevant to court operations. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including time management and record-keeping accuracy. Proficient in composing various document types and effectively conveying concepts. Maintains an even temperament and possesses strong interpersonal skills for teamwork. Exhibits effective oral communication and superior customer service, demonstrating tact and professionalism. Capable of multitasking with minimal supervision, making independent decisions based on experience and court policies. Performs well under pressure, adapting to changing conditions and unexpected challenges. Demonstrates discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Windows, with a strong ability to learn case management software.
Education and Experience:
Requires an Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, social work, psychology, human services, public health, corrections, public administration, court administration, or related field, with three years of progressively more responsible experience with clinical or non-clinical case management involving social services, mental health, juvenile justice, or addiction services clients. Job-related experience may include project or program case management in the fields of addictions, human/family services, health services, public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or court management. (Minimum) Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, social work, psychology, human services, public health, corrections, public administration, court administration, or related field. and a minimum of two years' experience in case management and/or field work in addictions, social work, juvenile justice, mental health, or court management. (Preferred) Candidates must possess commensurate education, training, and/or experience demonstrating competence in the essential duties, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additional Information The position is grant-funded. Current funding expires on September 30, 2026. Continued employment after September 30, 2026, is contingent upon the availability of funds awarded. This position is non-clinical, and supervision will not be offered for clinical licensing hours. Licenses and Certificates are not a requirement for employment. Excellent benefits including a defined benefit pension plan, deferred compensation, generous leave, and health care programs.
