Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene's section of Emergency Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide diagnostic evaluation and management of acute medical complaints for children and adults, presenting to the Emergency Department. On our Keene campus, our team delivers an impressive range of clinical services that reflect the needs of the individuals and communities we serve. Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients presenting with acute medical conditions in the Emergency Department.
  • Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and perform procedures within scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and consulting services to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate patient disposition, including discharge, admission, and transfer planning.
  • Document patient care accurately and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

Required Licensure/Certifications
  • Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the states of New Hampshire and Vermont. Academic preparation at the Master's level preferred.
  • RN and APRN currently (or eligible) licensed in New Hampshire and Vermont.
Successful completion of an approved NP program. Master's level education required.
