Overview A kind family is seeking an experienced, dependable Live-In Family Assistant / Housekeeper to support the daily operations of a private home as soon as possible. This position is replacing a longtime housekeeper of 10 years who is retiring, and the family is hoping to find someone looking for a stable, long-term role within a respectful and welcoming household environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of independently managing household tasks while bringing warmth, professionalism, and consistency to the home. The role will primarily support an older gentleman, with his daughter actively involved in the household throughout the week. Schedule 40 hours per week - Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat. or Mon-Fri. Family is flexible regarding final weekly schedule and need someone who is open to additional weekend or holiday support when necessary. Responsibilities General housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized home Laundry Grocery shopping and household errands Preparing simple meals and assisting with cooking Household organization and day-to-day upkeep Feeding and letting out two friendly Labrador Retrievers during working hours Maintaining household supplies and proactively identifying home needs Providing dependable support and helping ensure the home runs smoothly Qualifications Comfortable managing multiple household responsibilities with minimal oversight Warm, professional, and easygoing demeanor Someone seeking a long-term position within a respectful household Requirements Organized, reliable, and able to work independently Comfortable around dogs Valid driver's license and confident driving ability Salary and Benefits $35-$40/hour DOE Live-in accommodations provided Long-term opportunity within a stable and appreciative household PTO,sick days, holidays
