Job Description:

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

The primary responsibility of this position is instructing students, faculty and staff in Aerobics.

EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as an Aerobics instructor offering classes to students, staff and faculty. Adhere to and support all rules, conditions and regulations as set forth by Framingham State University. Serves as designated Title IX Responsible Employee and Campus Security Authority. Accountable for ensuring that affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity are integrally tied to all actions and decisions in areas of responsibility.

Special Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Ability to work evening, weekends, and holidays as schedule dictates.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences (i.e., students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, administration and community) Ability to work evening, weekends, and holidays as schedule dictates.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time non-benefited, contract position, not to exceed 18 hours per week.
