You will be part of something bigger. This is where the best are built. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE). In this role, you will be supporting testing of the F-35B and F-35C aircraft as a Flight Test Control Engineer within the F-35 Integrated Test Force (ITF). The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of flight parameters and interaction of complex systems. In this role, you will be acting as a primary liaison between aircraft maintenance and engineering, responsible for communicating and coordinating the aircraft test configuration requirements required to support scheduled ground and flight test activities for the F-35B and F-35C aircraft. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures as well as the use of complex databases. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related STEM major
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience in mechanical work such as assembling/disassembling hardware, reading schematics and technical drawings, or troubleshooting
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Schematics, Engineering documentation, reading/interpretation and their use during troubleshooting
- Experience working with complex databases such as Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
- Experience working in an aircraft production or operations environment
- Experience working with Aircraft Systems and/or Maintenance/Modification Procedures
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for thisPosition:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
