$26.10 - $37.00 per hour Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CMM Operator / Programmer to support quality inspection operations in a precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment, inspecting manufactured components, and creating or modifying CMM programs to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CMM inspection software, strong blueprint and GD&T interpretation skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional production and quality teams. Key Responsibilities Operate CMM equipment to inspect and measure manufactured parts Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards Create and edit CMM programs using software such as PC-DMIS or Calypso Interpret blueprints, GD&T symbols, and technical documentation Compare CMM inspection data with hand inspection tools and surface plate inspections Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on CMM equipment Record inspection results and communicate discrepancies to quality or engineering personnel Work closely with machine operators, programmers, quality teams, and management to ensure product quality Assist in troubleshooting quality concerns and implementing corrective actions Maintain compliance with
AS9100/ISO9001
standards, including documentation, traceability, and revision control Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 6S standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training preferred Minimum of 3 years of CMM operation experience Experience using CMM software such as PC-DMIS or Calypso Proficiency with inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, and indicators Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Basic knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actions Strong computer proficiency Effective written and verbal communication skills Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving abilities Strong time management skills Ability to pass an annual eye exam administered by a licensed optometrist Physical Requirements Ability to read customer and production documents with or without corrective lenses Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, and sit for extended periods Why Join Us Competitive pay Stable full-time direct hire opportunity Comprehensive benefits package including insurance, PTO, and 401(k) Collaborative and professional manufacturing environment Opportunity to work with advanced inspection technology Strong commitment to quality, precision, and continuous improvement Apply Today If you are a skilled CMM Operator / Programmer looking for a long-term opportunity in precision manufacturing, we encourage you to apply today.
