Aerospace Technical Writer

Akkodis is seeking an Aerospace Technical Writer for a Contract job with a client in Harleysville, PA . The ideal candidate must have experience translating complex aerospace engineering and testing information into clear, structured documentation, along with strong skills in report generation and test procedure writing.

Rate Range:

$35/hour to $45/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Aerospace Technical Writer job responsibilities include: Gather technical information by collaborating with aerospace engineers and technicians to understand processes, systems, and test procedures. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation for both technical and non?technical audiences. Design, write, edit, and maintain technical manuals, process documentation, and test procedures. Perform data analysis and reporting, summarizing results and consolidating information into easily interpretable formats. Manage documentation updates, revisions, and change control board processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Review and verify technical content, ensuring adherence to industry and organizational documentation standards.

Desired Qualifications:

Technical Associate's degree (required) in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in aerospace or engineering environments. Experience with test procedure writing and results summarization. Strong ability to create visual aids (diagrams, charts, graphs) to enhance technical understanding.
