Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm Expected Start date: Immediately Growing national Property Management Company is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant for their affordable housing multi-family property. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing leasing operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining property standards. This position requires excellent communication skills, conflict management abilities, and a strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Assist prospective tenants in finding suitable rental properties by understanding their needs and preferences. Conduct property tours, highlighting features and amenities to attract potential renters. Manage leasing paperwork and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process. Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while maintaining company policies and legal standards. Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure that properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations. Maintain accurate records of leasing activities. Provide administrative support related to legal documentation and office tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year in apartment leasing Must have knowledge of affordable housing regulations/policies Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations Proficiency in using OneSite, Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable. Proficient with MS Office with competent general computer skills Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques Customer-focused approach Strong presentation skills and excellent verbal communication skills Must pass criminal background check
