Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems Take accurate food and beverage orders efficiently, utilizing POS systems Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and ensuring food safety standards are met Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed, adhering to food handling protocols Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries, and resolve concerns promptly Assist with night-time closing procedures, including cleaning, restocking supplies, and completing shift reports Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent customer service Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Experience with serving guests in a hospitality or guest relations role is advantageous Ability to upsell menu items confidently using sales techniques like upselling strategies on OpenTable or directly at the table Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations are essential Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively environment!
