12:00 AM•10:00 AM Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Afterhours Operations Supervisor to lead overnight and weekend operations within our fast-paced courier and logistics division in St. Louis. This role is responsible for maintaining operational continuity, supporting dispatch and driver teams, resolving escalations in real time, and ensuring exceptional service during non-traditional business hours. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader with experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or courier operations who thrives in a 24/7 environment and can confidently manage overnight workflows, staffing, customer concerns, and service performance. Responsibilities Supervise overnight and weekend operations to ensure efficiency, service quality, and operational stability Lead, coach, and support overnight operational staff and dispatch teams Monitor dispatch activity, workflow, staffing coverage, and customer service levels throughout each shift Resolve operational escalations, service failures, customer concerns, and driver-related issues in real time Maintain communication and detailed shift handoffs with daytime leadership teams Ensure overnight operational processes and customer requirements are consistently followed Support onboarding and training efforts for overnight and weekend team members Identify operational improvement opportunities and communicate staffing or workflow concerns to leadership Help maintain service levels, KPIs, and productivity standards Perform overnight dispatching duties while balancing leadership responsibilities Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, courier operations, or a fast-paced operational environment Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) preferred Experience with CXT software, CRM platforms, or logistics systems is a plus Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required What We're Looking For A calm, decisive leader who performs well under pressure Someone who can adapt quickly in a time-sensitive environment Strong operational mindset with attention to detail and accountability Team-oriented professional committed to customer service and operational excellence Pay & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage PTO (vacation and sick time) Competitive hourly pay: $31.00•35.00 per hour Consistent full-time overnight schedule Opportunity to grow within a fast-paced logistics operation Supportive leadership and team environment Apply today to join a growing overnight operations team that keeps critical logistics moving 24/7.
