Enderlin, ND (In-Person) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Ag & Commercial Loan Officer to manage and grow our existing agricultural and commercial loan portfolio in Enderlin, ND. This role is ideal for a seasoned lender who values relationship-based lending, credit quality, and direct community impact. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural operations and commercial credit and will serve as a trusted advisor to members. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of agricultural and commercial loans Originate, underwrite, structure, and close loans including operating lines, real estate, equipment, and term financing Perform thorough credit analysis, including financial statements, cash flow, and collateral evaluation Maintain strong, long-term relationships with producers and business members Conduct annual reviews, renewals, and ongoing portfolio monitoring Ensure compliance with credit union policy and regulatory requirements Identify opportunities to support member growth through additional credit union services Represent Dakota Plains Credit Union through community involvement and outreach Document loan advances, application of proceeds and tracking loan payments Reports to Loan Manager and/or CEO Work with branch manager, mortgage lenders, and consumer loan officers to provide full-service solutions and products Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in agricultural and/or commercial lending Bank of ND, FSA, USDA, FHLB, SBA, and participation lending Strong working knowledge of ag production, farm financials, and commercial credit Proven ability to independently manage a loan portfolio Sound credit judgment and risk management skills Excellent communication, relationship-building, and member service skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
