We are a multi-generational, large-scale farm located in East Central Illinois, specializing in the cultivation of corn, soybeans, wheat, milo, rye, oats, and hay. As our farm continues to grow, we are seeking skilled agricultural workers to assist with a variety of tasks across all stages of crop production, from planting to harvest and beyond. Responsibilities include preparing fields for planting, operating farm machinery such as tractors, planters, seed drills, sprayers, and harvesters, and applying fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides to manage crop health. Workers will also assist with monitoring crop for pests and diseases, applying treatments as necessary, and perform weeding and possible irrigation. In addition to crop care, workers will be responsible for harvesting, sorting, and packaging produce, as well as operating forklifts, conveyors, and other equipment for loading and unloading crops and materials. Routine maintenance and repair of farm equipment, including tractors, harvesters, irrigation equipment will also be part of the role, requiring workers to conduct inspections, perform minor repairs, and keep equipment in good working order. General farm duties will include maintaining work areas, repairing fences and farm buildings, planting, and pruning, and caring for trees and shrubs and assisting with various other tasks as needed. Record-keeping will be required for crop progress, pesticide use, yields, and other activities. Candidates should have prior experience in agriculture or farm work, mechanical skills to operate and maintain equipment, and the ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions. A valid driver's license is required. We offer competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities to pay increase and performance-based bonuses at the employer's discretion. the work environment is fast paced, physically demanding and requires flexibility to handle a range of duties as the needs of the farm evolve.
