Details:
We are a 2000 acre row crop farming operation. We primarily grow peanuts, cotton, corn, and soybeans using furrow irrigation. We primarily run late model John Deere, Case, and Agco (Fendt, Rogator) equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; feel plants/crops leaves and note coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, sprayers, straight frame trucks, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, cotton, soybeans, Peanuts. Must speak and understand English. •
