Job Description

Overview The golf course is in Riverside County, CA Internship training programs such as the maintenance of greens, trees, and fairways, learning how to schedule work and supervise employees, and using the equipment.
Learn:
1. equipment operation and care of mowing and other equipment; 2. pesticide applications and/or operate and calibrate pesticide application equipment; participate in the operations and maintenance of pumps; 3. participate in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems. Have a strong understanding and continue to expand in turf grass culture, including Horticulture, Course conditioning including Water Quality, Course construction and reconstruction, and up-to-date rules of golf, the proper use of fertilizers and pesticides, as well as staying up to date on new golf course equipment, including irrigation equipment. Strongly motivated to align and partner with the superintendent to complete all tasks to the highest standards and achieve team goals. Assist in personnel management and evaluation, employee safety, and personnel discipline. Experience Required GCSAA membership in good standing preferred Must be able to perform mathematical calculations, especially fractions and calibration techniques. Must undergo a drug test. Minimum of two years of experience in golf course and/or maintenance with at least one year in a supervisory role. Possession of a valid driver's license. May require current state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator.
