Requirements/Objectives:

Pay:

Entry level $23/hr for Arborist Trainee/Crewmember. Experienced Climbing Arborist pay scale increases with skills and abilities up to $35 an hour.

Driving:

The position requires you to drive a company vehicle and is contingent on you being added to our insurance.

Orientation:

As a part of your employment, you will need to complete an orientation. You will have periodic check-ins throughout the orientation process to ensure you are on track and to provide space to discuss questions and ask for support.

Experience:

Enjoys working outside and environmentally minded Background in landscaping, forestry, horticulture, and/or climbing Pesticide and related licenses and certificates Experience in tree climbing safety•Aerial Rescue Training, CPR, etc.

Skills:

Ability to work well as part of a team of coworkers to complete daily tasks related to pruning and removing trees Be able to listen and understand verbal instructions and communicate clearly while working with trees and equipment. Be able to work with ropes and learn to tie knots that are commonly used in our work Raking, cutting,lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs to move branches and debris. Safely use or learn to use a battery chainsaw, chipper and other related equipment Ability to climb into trees using approved PPE and climbing gear

Proficiency:

Goals and corresponding wage adjustments will be outlined as you progress in these areas to build your proficiency.

Benefits:

Eligibility for health insurance begins at the 1st of the month following your hire date. 40 hours of paid personal time off (PTO) after 1 year of full-time employment, 80 hours after 2 years of employment, and 120 hours after 5 years. $275 Boot allowance each year on the anniversary of your date of hire. 9/80 Work Schedule with every other Monday off Please respond with your resume and the reason(s) you feel called to work with trees!
