In this energetic position, you will perform a variety of tasks related to tree trimming, pruning, and removal, ensuring safety and aesthetic appeal across residential, commercial, and public spaces. Your hands-on skills and growing experience will contribute to the health of urban forests and green spaces while supporting landscape maintenance projects. Duties Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access high branches for trimming, pruning, or removal Use rigging techniques to safely lower large limbs or trees during removal or pruning processes Conduct tree care assessments to determine the health and stability of trees, recommending appropriate actions Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping to enhance outdoor spaces Assist with GIS (Geographic Information System) mapping for site planning and tree inventory management Support arboriculture projects by performing tree trimming, pruning, and planting activities with precision Maintain equipment such as chainsaws, clippers, and rigging gear in excellent condition for optimal safety and performance Requirements Growing experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong interest in developing expertise in arboriculture Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and general landscape maintenance practices Ability to operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other landscaping machinery safely Familiarity with rigging procedures for safe tree removal or limb lowering Basic understanding of GIS applications related to landscape planning or urban forestry projects (preferred) Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail during all tasks This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in tree care and landscape maintenance.
