In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently trimming, pruning, and removing trees to promote healthy growth and ensure safety. Your expertise in tree care, landscaping, and equipment operation will help us deliver top-quality service while fostering a safe and sustainable environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in horticulture, rigging, and landscape maintenance while working outdoors in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Safely operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other tree care equipment to access high branches and difficult-to-reach areas Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal with precision to promote healthy growth and prevent hazards Use rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or trees during removal or maintenance projects Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general site cleanup to support overall site aesthetics Assist with GIS (Geographic Information System) mapping for project planning and site documentation Maintain tools and equipment regularly to ensure safety standards are met and equipment functions optimally Follow all safety protocols related to tree care, rigging, bucket operation, and landscape work to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture is highly desirable; growing experience is a plus Knowledge of tree trimming techniques, tree health assessment, and general land management practices Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, bucket lifts, or similar aerial equipment Familiarity with rigging procedures for safe branch or tree removal is advantageous Basic understanding of GIS systems for mapping or project documentation is beneficial Strong commitment to safety standards related to arboriculture and landscape maintenance Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high attention to detail Join us in shaping vibrant landscapes while advancing your skills in a lively environment that values safety, growth, and environmental stewardship!
