In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining healthy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing trees and greenery through expert tree care, trimming, and landscape maintenance. Duties Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal to promote tree health and safety Operate bucket trucks, cranes, and other equipment safely for elevated work Use rigging techniques to safely lower branches or debris during pruning or removal projects Apply GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to map and assess tree locations and health status Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping duties Assist with growing experience by learning about different tree species, horticulture practices, and land management techniques Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards for tree care and landscaping Qualifications Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture is highly desirable Knowledge of rigging techniques and proper use of bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment Familiarity with GIS mapping tools is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including climbing trees, lifting heavy objects, and working at heights Strong understanding of land management practices such as lawn care and landscape maintenance Growing experience in arboriculture or horticulture preferred; relevant certifications are advantageous Excellent attention to safety procedures and environmental stewardship in all tasks This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in arboriculture while contributing to vibrant community spaces.
