Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Big Tree Trimming Specialist and play a vital role in maintaining healthy, beautiful, and safe landscapes. In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for expertly trimming and pruning large trees to enhance their growth, structure, and aesthetics. Using specialized equipment like bucket trucks and rigging tools, you'll ensure trees are cared for properly while prioritizing safety and precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical skills with outdoor craftsmanship, making a visible impact on our environment and community. Duties Operate bucket trucks, rigging systems, and other tree care equipment to access and trim tall trees safely and efficiently Perform precise tree trimming, pruning, and shaping to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to map and assess tree locations and health status for planning maintenance activities Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, shrub trimming, and general landscaping to support overall site beauty Apply horticultural knowledge to identify tree health issues and recommend appropriate care or removal strategies Ensure all safety protocols are followed during rigging, bucket operation, and tree work to prevent accidents or injuries Collaborate with team members on growing experience projects to improve skills in tree care, landscaping, and land management Experience Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture is highly preferred; a background in growing trees or plant maintenance is a plus Hands-on experience with rigging techniques used in large tree trimming operations Familiarity with GIS mapping tools for landscape planning or environmental assessment is advantageous Demonstrated ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently in various outdoor environments Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general gardening practices is beneficial Strong understanding of tree biology and proper pruning techniques to support healthy growth Previous experience working with landscape equipment such as trimmers, blowers, or similar tools is desirable Join us in transforming outdoor spaces through expert tree trimming and landscape care!
