Landscape Technician

In this role, you will be the driving force behind creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. You'll work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that landscapes are not only aesthetically pleasing but also healthy and sustainable. Your expertise in lawn care, tree care, and irrigation will be essential as you contribute to projects that enhance the environment and elevate community spaces. What you'll do Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and snow plowing to keep properties looking pristine year-round. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for gardening, hardscaping, and tree trimming activities. Operate excavators and other machinery safely to assist in construction projects and landscape installations. Implement irrigation systems that promote efficient water usage while ensuring plant health. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify maintenance needs and recommend improvements. Collaborate with team members on horticultural practices to enhance plant growth and sustainability. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site. Basic qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment. Preferred qualifications Experience in landscape maintenance or related fields such as horticulture or gardening. Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques and materials. Knowledge of tree care practices, including pruning and disease management. Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
