Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Climbing Arborist, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the health, safety, and beauty of trees within our community. This energetic position involves climbing, pruning, and removing trees with precision and care, utilizing specialized equipment to ensure the highest standards of tree care. Your expertise will contribute to safer environments, healthier landscapes, and the overall aesthetic appeal of urban and suburban areas. We are committed to providing paid opportunities that foster growth and skill development in arboriculture. You will not be climbing every day, but it must be a skill that you have for when it is required. Advanced level climbing and rigging are not required, but are a plus. Responsibilities Must be able to do picks in tandem with a crane Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks efficiently and securely. Implement rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or tree sections during removal or pruning projects. Operating a chipper, wheel loader, log truck, and various other equipment. Qualifications Proven growing experience in arboriculture, horticulture, or related landscape fields. Strong knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and removal. Experience operating bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and rigging equipment safely. Ability to perform physically demanding work at heights while maintaining safety standards. Valid certifications in tree care or arboriculture are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is encouraged.
