Tree Service Worker

Duties Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access trees at various heights for trimming, pruning, or removal Use rigging techniques to safely lower branches or trees during removal or pruning projects Perform tree care activities including trimming, shaping, and health assessments to promote growth and safety Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping to enhance outdoor spaces Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and documenting tree locations and conditions Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and safety inspections to ensure operational readiness Support team efforts in growing experience through hands-on learning in horticulture and arboriculture practices Requirements Prior experience or growing interest in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture fields Ability to operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other landscaping machinery safely and effectively Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe tree removal or limb lowering Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping or data collection is a plus Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift, and work outdoors in various weather conditions Basic understanding of landscape maintenance including lawn care and planting procedures Valid driver's license with clean driving record; certification in bucket operation preferred but not required This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to expand their skills in arboriculture while contributing to vibrant community landscapes.
