In this energetic role, you will leverage your climbing skills and horticultural knowledge to prune, trim, and care for trees of all sizes. Your expertise will help improve tree health, ensure safety around power lines and structures, and contribute to the overall aesthetic of our communities. Responsibilities Safely ascend trees using climbing gear, rigging techniques, and bucket trucks to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks Use rigging equipment to carefully lower branches or debris, ensuring safety for team members and property Operate bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently Conduct detailed tree care assessments, including health evaluations and growth analysis using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general landscaping to enhance site aesthetics Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment regularly and following proper procedures during all climbing activities Assist with land clearing projects and support growing experience in horticulture through hands-on learning Experience Prior experience in tree care, tree trimming, or landscaping is highly desirable Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe tree climbing and branch removal Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks or similar equipment preferred Knowledge of GIS applications related to landscape planning or tree mapping is a plus Basic understanding of horticulture principles and plant health management Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols in outdoor or construction environments Growing experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or arboriculture enhances your suitability for this role Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to healthier trees and greener communities.
