Tree Service Worker

Duties Safely operate bucket trucks and other lifting equipment to access high branches and trees for trimming and removal Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal to promote health and safety standards Use rigging techniques to safely lower large limbs or trees during removal or maintenance projects Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping duties Support land management activities using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning projects Conduct routine inspections of trees and landscapes to identify hazards or health issues Maintain equipment including bucket trucks, rigging gear, and hand tools to ensure safety and efficiency Skills Growing experience in horticulture, arboriculture, or landscape maintenance preferred Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and disease management Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently for elevated work tasks Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe limb or tree removal Basic understanding of GIS technology for land mapping and project planning Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail for safety inspections and landscape upkeep This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture.
