Arborist

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Arborist to join our team. This role involves the maintenance and safe removal of trees and woody plants to ensure structural integrity and public safety. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in physically demanding conditions, including at heights, and has experience using specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities Pruning & Trimming:

Remove dead, damaged, or overgrown branches to improve safety and maintain proper structure.

Tree Removal:

Safely dismantle and remove hazardous or unwanted trees using proper rigging techniques and equipment.

Emergency Response:

Assist in storm cleanup and removal of fallen trees and debris to restore safe conditions.

Qualifications Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform strenuous outdoor work, lift heavy equipment, and climb trees using harnesses and safety gear.

Technical Skills:

Experience operating chainsaws, wood chippers, climbing gear, rigging systems, and aerial lift equipment preferred.

Safety Awareness:

Strong understanding of safety protocols, especially when working at heights or near power lines and structures. Preferred Experience Tree climbing and aerial work Utility line clearance work Municipal or residential tree services

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

Starting at $30/hour, with increases based on experience
