Job Description
Position Overview Sawtooth Tree Service is seeking an experienced Climber / Lead Bucket Operator to take a key role in our field operations. This position is ideal for someone who is confident working at height, leading job sites, and operating aerial equipment safely and efficiently. We are a professional tree care company serving the Twin Ports area, focused on quality work, safety, and strong team collaboration. Primary Responsibilities Climb trees and perform pruning and removals safely Operate bucket trucks and aerial lift equipment Lead and direct ground crew members during jobs Plan and execute tree removals from start to finish Ensure proper rigging techniques and equipment use Maintain awareness of safety standards at all times Communicate clearly with crew and customers on-site Qualifications Prior climbing or bucket operation experience preferred Ability to work at heights in a physically demanding environment Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a crew Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus) Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to continue learning and improving skills On-the-job training is available for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to grow.
