Tree Climber

Duties Safely ascend trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks. Use rigging techniques to control the fall of branches or entire trees during trimming or removal projects. Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access elevated work areas efficiently and securely. Conduct tree assessments to identify health issues, hazards, or structural weaknesses that require attention. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general landscaping to enhance outdoor environments. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping tree locations and recording maintenance activities. Follow all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Requirements Proven growing experience in tree care, horticulture, or related landscaping fields with a strong understanding of tree biology and health. Demonstrated ability to climb trees safely using rigging techniques and climbing gear. Experience operating bucket trucks or bucket lifts for elevated work tasks. Knowledge of rigging procedures for branch removal or tree felling operations. Familiarity with GIS mapping tools is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Strong attention to detail in tree assessment, pruning precision, and landscape maintenance activities. Pay:

$29.11 - $35.06 per hour
