In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and maintenance tasks that transform and maintain beautiful, functional outdoor environments. Your hands-on work will support landscape projects, ensure the health of trees and gardens, and keep outdoor areas safe and inviting. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting, hardscape setup, and garden bed preparation Operate hand tools and power tools safely for mowing, trimming, planting, and general maintenance Support lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to promote healthy turf Help with tree care tasks including pruning, trimming, and basic tree health assessments Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and performing minor repairs Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access to outdoor areas Contribute to landscape upkeep by performing routine maintenance on equipment like excavators and other construction tools Assist with the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls Support team members in maintaining safety standards across all landscaping activities Experience Basic mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is a plus Knowledge of horticulture principles including gardening techniques and plant care Experience with tree trimming, pruning, or arboriculture is advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards Join us to help create stunning outdoor spaces while gaining valuable experience in landscaping!
