Overview Join our dynamic team as an Arborist and become a vital part of enhancing urban and natural landscapes through expert tree care and maintenance. In this role, you will apply your growing experience and horticultural knowledge to ensure the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of trees and surrounding environments. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive tree assessments to identify health issues, safety hazards, and growth opportunities Perform precise pruning, trimming, and shaping of trees to promote healthy growth and safety standards Utilize rigging techniques to safely remove or prune large or hazardous branches using ropes and pulleys Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts efficiently for elevated work on trees and landscape features Apply GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to map and document tree locations, health status, and maintenance history Assist with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping tasks to support overall site aesthetics Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations, including equipment handling and working at heights Skills (Not Required) Proven experience in tree care, pruning, and trimming with a focus on safety and precision Strong knowledge of horticulture principles related to tree health and growth management Skilled in rigging techniques for safe removal or pruning of large branches or trees Experience operating bucket trucks, bucket lifts, or similar aerial equipment for elevated tasks Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping and managing landscape assets Ability to perform lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general gardening duties effectively Growing experience in arboriculture or related fields is highly valued for ongoing development This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to expand their skills in arboriculture while contributing to sustainable landscape management.
