Landscape Laborer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of outdoor projects. Experience in the field is preferred but not required. This role involves hands on work in landscape maintenance, installation, supporting the creation and upkeep of beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for outdoor work, and familiarity with landscape-related tools and techniques. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including tree trimming, aeration and seeding of new lawns, installation of garden beds, moving and planting trees Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as skid loaders. Perform hardscape installations like patios, walkways, and retaining walls Conduct general site cleanup and ensure safety standards are maintained during all activities Support planting, pruning, and other horticultural tasks to promote healthy landscapes Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and pathways Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic repairs as needed Collaborate with team members on large projects involving construction and landscape installation Skills Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices Familiarity with land preparation, hardscape installation. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows. Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and planting Strong understanding of horticulture principles for plant health and landscape design Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Good teamwork skills and attention to safety protocols in outdoor environments This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor work and landscape projects.
