6/4/2026 Position Summary We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Arborist to join our team in a residential and commercial sales position. As a Sales Arborist, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by promoting and selling tree care services to residential and commercial clients. This position combines arboricultural expertise with business development and customer relationship management to deliver customized solutions and exceptional customer experiences while expanding our client base and supporting long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities Essential Functions Business Development & Sales Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within residential and commercial tree care markets. Conduct prospect research and develop strategies to engage potential customers. Collaborate with marketing teams to support lead generation initiatives and campaigns. Meet with clients to assess tree care needs and recommend tailored service solutions. Prepare and present customized proposals, estimates, and service recommendations. Educate customers on tree health, maintenance practices, and the value of professional tree care services. Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance objectives. Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service follow-up. Conduct post-project reviews and customer follow-up to gather feedback and identify additional service opportunities. Serve as a trusted advisor regarding tree health, risk management, and maintenance recommendations. Sales Administration & Reporting Maintain accurate and current records of customer interactions, sales activities, proposals, and project information within SingleOps or designated CRM systems. Track sales pipeline activity and provide regular forecasting and reporting updates. Monitor project progress and coordinate with operations teams to ensure customer expectations are met. Industry Knowledge & Professional Development Stay informed of current arboriculture practices, industry trends, and emerging tree care technologies. Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations impacting tree care and urban forestry. Participate in professional development opportunities and industry certifications as appropriate. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with management and support staff regarding scheduling, project scope, and client expectations. Support company initiatives that promote safety, quality, and operational excellence. Duties may or may not be subject to change Qualifications Education and Experience Proven sales experience, preferably within the arboriculture, landscaping, or green industry sectors. Experience developing and maintaining client relationships in a service-based environment. Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of tree care practices, tree species identification, and common tree health issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to diverse audiences. Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities. Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales goals. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Willingness to travel locally to client sites and project locations. Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations. 18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Combination of office, field, and customer-site environments. Frequent travel within assigned service territory. Ability to walk uneven terrain and inspect trees and work sites. Exposure to varying weather conditions during field visits. Occasional lifting of materials and equipment associated with field inspections. Preferred Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Arborgold, or similar sales management systems preferred. ISA Certified Arborist credential strongly preferred. This role is based in an office environment with occasional remote work flexibility. The position may require limited travel.
