Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic tree care team as a Ground Man for Tree Service and be a vital part of creating safe, healthy, and beautiful landscapes! In this energetic role, you will support arborists and tree care specialists by assisting with essential tasks that keep operations running smoothly. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure safety, efficiency, and top-quality service for our clients. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tree care, landscaping, and land management while working in an engaging outdoor environment. Duties Assist with rigging and setup of climbing gear to support tree trimming and removal operations Operate bucket trucks safely under supervision to access high branches and hard-to-reach areas Support arborists with tree care tasks such as pruning, trimming, and planting Help with landscape maintenance including lawn care, planting, mulching, and general yard cleanup Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with mapping and site planning when needed Maintain safety standards by setting up barriers, inspecting equipment, and following safety protocols Support the team in growing experience through active participation in training sessions on horticulture and landscaping techniques Experience Prior experience or familiarity with tree care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Basic knowledge of rigging techniques used in arboriculture or land management is a plus Experience operating bucket trucks or similar equipment is highly desirable Understanding of land surveying tools such as GIS is advantageous but not mandatory Hands-on experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or growing plants will help you excel in this role A strong interest in horticulture or gardening demonstrates your commitment to developing your skills in tree service and landscape work This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in tree care, landscaping, and land management. Pay:
$150.00 - $200.00 per day People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
