Duties Safely ascend trees using rigging techniques and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently. Implement tree care practices including trimming, shaping, and health assessments to promote growth and safety. Conduct rigging procedures for the safe removal of branches or entire trees, ensuring minimal impact on surroundings. Qualifications Proven growing experience in horticulture or arboriculture with a strong understanding of tree care principles. Ability to climb trees safely using rigging techniques and appropriate safety gear. Experience operating bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment for elevated work tasks. Strong understanding of tree trimming standards, tree health assessment, and general horticultural practices. Prior experience with rigging procedures for tree removal or pruning is highly desirable.
