Job Description
Tree Service Worker Elise Tree Service Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Service Worker and play a vital role in maintaining healthy, beautiful landscapes through expert tree care and maintenance. In this energetic position, you will be actively involved in trimming, pruning, rigging, and supporting tree removal projects while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site. Your growing experience in horticulture, landscaping, and land management will help us deliver exceptional service to our clients. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in tree trimming, bucket operation, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and other essential landscape maintenance techniques. Responsibilities Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using specialized tools and equipment such as bucket trucks and rigging gear to ensure safe and effective work practices Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access high branches or difficult-to-reach areas safely Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, and general landscape upkeep to support overall site health and aesthetics Support tree care projects by applying horticultural knowledge to promote healthy growth and proper pruning techniques Use GIS technology to map, document, and assess tree health or landscape features for planning and reporting purposes Follow safety protocols rigorously during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries on site Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment Qualifications Demonstrated growing experience in tree care, landscaping, horticulture or related fields with a strong desire to expand expertise in arboriculture techniques Knowledge of rigging procedures for safely lowering large branches or trees during removal processes Ability to operate bucket trucks, aerial lifts, or similar equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with GIS tools or mapping software is a plus for landscape assessment tasks Basic understanding of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general horticultural practices Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions Valid certification or willingness to obtain certifications related to tree care or equipment operation is preferred Class B CDL with manual and airbrake endorsement (required) Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to vibrant landscapes and community beauty.
