Duties Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and techniques to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks. Utilize rigging equipment to secure branches or debris for controlled lowering or disposal. Operate bucket trucks and bucket operation tools to access elevated work areas efficiently and safely. Conduct tree assessments using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to document tree health and location data. Perform landscape maintenance activities such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping tasks. Apply horticultural principles to support tree health, growth, and overall landscape aesthetics. Assist with land management projects by supporting growing experience initiatives in horticulture and land stewardship. Skills Proven experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removal techniques. Strong rigging skills for safe branch lowering and debris management. Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping and documenting landscape features. Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently for elevated work tasks. Knowledge of landscaping practices such as lawn care, planting, and landscape maintenance. Growing experience or background in horticulture or related fields is highly desirable. Excellent physical fitness with the ability to climb trees, lift heavy loads, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
