Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Arborist, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the health, safety, and beauty of trees and landscapes. This energetic position involves performing skilled tree care, trimming, and pruning activities, utilizing specialized equipment such as bucket trucks and rigging tools. You will also support landscape maintenance projects, contribute to lawn care efforts, and apply horticultural knowledge to promote thriving green spaces. Your expertise will help create safe, sustainable environments for communities and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using industry-standard techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal Operate bucket trucks, lifts, and rigging equipment efficiently and safely for elevated work tasks Apply horticultural principles to assess tree health, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate treatments Conduct landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping tasks Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning tree care projects Support land management efforts by executing land clearing and site preparation activities Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, treatment logs, and project documentation Experience Proven growing experience with trees, shrubs, and landscape plants in a professional setting Hands-on experience with tree care techniques such as trimming, pruning, cabling, bracing, and removal Familiarity with rigging procedures for safely lowering large branches or trees during removal operations Skilled in operating bucket trucks, lifts, and other aerial equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of horticulture practices related to plant health management and landscape aesthetics Experience with GIS technology for mapping or project planning is a plus Prior involvement in lawn care or landscape maintenance projects demonstrating attention to detail and efficiency ISA or TRAQ is a PLUS Join us to cultivate greener communities!
