Full Job Description Pay:

$35-$42.50/hour

Benefits:

Basic Health Plan or health care stipend at employees discretion (approx value $400/month). Paid sick leave. Paid vacation (two weeks/year) and paid holidays (Seven days/year) Training budget ($1000/year) and three days paid training in addition to attending the PNWISA annual conference Climbing equipment provided by the employer or a gear budget ($1500/year) is provided if employee opts to use their own equipment

Location:

Days start and end in South Park Seattle, working in the greater Seattle area

Hours:

M-Th approximately 10 hour days/40 hrs per week. Very occasional Friday and Weekend hours opportunities(with ample advanced notice). Occasional storm-related work. Weekends are paid double-time.

Ideally May 2026 but we can be flexible if needed. - Conservation Tree Care is a small, environmentally conscious, tree care provider based in South Seattle. We work with clients to maximize the safety and health of their trees. Our goal is to encourage tree planting and retention with the goal of growing the urban forest. We take training, continuing education, and credentialing very seriously. Our work encompasses a broad spectrum of tree care including tree planting, soil improvement, pruning trees of all sizes, and occasional tree removal. We work in residential and commercial settings.

Requirements:

ISA Certified Arborist credential Extensive tree climbing and pruning experience Experience with tree removal and technical rigging An ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers Being a conscientious and kind person with a genuine interest in trees and the natural world A valid driver's license and reasonable driving record Willingness to comply with the

ANSI Z133

Safety Standard Experience driving medium duty trucks and trailers (no CDL needed)

Desired Qualifications:

Experience managing an arboricultural crew

ISA TRAQ

tree risk assessment qualification Experience working with a crane and/or aerial lifts
