Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Arborist to join our team, responsible for the care and maintenance of trees and landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tree care, including pruning, rigging, and the operation of bucket trucks. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and a passion for horticulture to ensure the health and aesthetics of our clients' landscapes. Responsibilities Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal as needed to promote healthy growth and safety. Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely and efficiently for high-altitude work. Utilize rigging techniques to safely lower branches and sections of trees during removal or maintenance. Conduct assessments of tree health and provide recommendations for care or treatment. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including GIS mapping when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Stay updated on best practices in arboriculture and horticulture to enhance service quality. Requirements Proven experience in tree care, including tree trimming and landscaping. Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe operation of bucket trucks. Knowledge of arboriculture standards and practices related to tree growth and maintenance. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in arboriculture are preferred but not mandatory.
