This position will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the facilities and grounds of Teatown. Must be flexible, as the daily requirements may change as needs arise. Should be well organized and a team player. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Clean driving record.
Pay:
$20/hour
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with land stewards on maintaining trails, meadows, and campus grounds through regular mowing, hedging, weed whacking and trimming. Work with facilities team on landscaping and maintenance of residential properties. Work with facilities team on general maintenance of buildings including janitorial, custodial, and porter services. And other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
1-2 years of appropriate work experience. Experience with using landscaping equipment such as weedwhacker, hedge trimmer and lawn mower. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as in groups. This is a seasonal position with a regular work week of Monday-Friday, 7 hours a day, with weekend and evening work required on occasion. Position runs from June 2026•October 2026.
