Job Description

Resource Conservation Technician Lebanon, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22512179 Summary Lebanon, PA In-Person $24.04 - $26.44 per Year 0 Years Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Employee is expected to work within the confines of the Erosion and Sedimentation Pollution Control (E&SPC) program and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting program for the discharge of stormwater associated with construction activities according to the terms provided in the delegation agreement by and between the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the Lebanon County Conservation District (LCCD). Employee will also administer LCCD's Dirt, Gravel, and Low Volume Road (DGLVR) Maintenance Program. Additional functions in conformance with regulations and program manuals developed by DEP as amended and updated.
E&SPC Program Responsibilities:
Application and permit filing and processing Administrative reviews of applications Technical plan reviews and corresponding comment letters Field inspections and corresponding reports Gaining voluntary compliance and/or compliance enforcement Performing complaint investigations and follow-up inspections to resolve complaints
DGLVR Program Responsibilities:
Identifying and assessing dirt, gravel, and low volume roads that may impact water quality Working with municipalities and other community partners to prepare and plan projects Overseeing the Quality Assurance Board (QAB) and prepare project rank lists and decision-making materials Preparing presentations for LCCD's Board of Directors including funding allocation recommendations, contracts, and project amendments Manage contracts and financial allocations and oversee projects Additional Details
