Job Description
Greenhouse Technician Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1-hour break) Competitive Pay Based on Experience We are seeking an experienced Greenhouse Technician to join our cultivation team. This is a full-time, hands-on role inside a controlled-environment greenhouse facility. Candidates must have prior greenhouse experience and understand the discipline required to maintain plant health, environmental stability, and production efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced cultivation environments and takes pride in plant quality and consistency. Position Overview The Greenhouse Technician is responsible for daily plant care, environmental monitoring, crop movement, and assisting cultivation leadership in maintaining optimal plant health from early growth through harvest. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow strict procedures. Required Experience Prior greenhouse or controlled-environment agriculture experience (commercial scale preferred) Experience working with irrigation systems and fertigation schedules Understanding of environmental factors including temperature, humidity, airflow, and light cycles Experience identifying plant stress, nutrient deficiencies, or pest issues Ability to follow SOPs and sanitation protocols Daily Responsibilities Watering and monitoring irrigation systems Mixing nutrients and verifying pH/EC levels Pruning, trellising, defoliating, and canopy management Monitoring plant health and reporting abnormalities Assisting with transplanting and crop rotation Maintaining clean, organized grow rooms and workspaces Supporting IPM (Integrated Pest Management) efforts Maintaining logs and daily tracking sheets Environmental & Physical Requirements Ability to work in hot, humid greenhouse environments Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift 40-50 lbs Comfortable working on ladders or elevated platforms when needed What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability High attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Respect for plant cycles and production timelines Willingness to learn and grow within the company Growth Opportunities We promote from within.
