The Landscape & Irrigation Guys, LLC is seeking an experienced Irrigation / Sprinkler Service Technician to join our growing team in NWA This is not just a labor position. We are looking for a technician who can think critically, diagnose irrigation issues accurately and efficiently, operate equipment safely, and take pride in providing quality workmanship. The ideal candidate understands how irrigation systems work. Pressure and flow relationships, electrical troubleshooting, wire tracing, diagnostics, problem solving, and customer service. We value individuals who are organized, dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, well kept and capable of working independently when necessary. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems Troubleshoot irrigation system issues involving pressure, flow, coverage, and system performance Diagnose and repair electrical issues including 9V, 12V, and 24V irrigation systems Locate wiring faults, valve failures, controller issues, and communication problems Install, renovate, and expand irrigation systems Repair primarily PVC leaks, valves, sprinkler heads, pipe, fittings, controllers and related components, including copper and brass sometimes as needed. Read and interpret irrigation plans, blueprints, and system layouts Perform system evaluations and recommend appropriate repairs or improvements Operate trenchers, skid steers, mini excavators, and related equipment safely Maintain organized job sites, vehicles, and equipment Supervise and assist the team, helpers and crew members as necessary Communicate professionally with customers and team members Hands on field work Preform basic, routine maintenance on your company vehicle and equipment Required Qualifications Minimum one year of irrigation service, repair, or installation experience Strong understanding of irrigation systems and components Experience troubleshooting irrigation problems in the field Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently and as a team to make sound decisions Valid driver's license Clean driving record (position requires operation of company vehicles and trailers) Reliable transportation Reliable communication Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions No felony convictions due to customer, vehicle, and job-site requirements Willingness to learn and grow everyday Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of irrigation service experience Equipment operation experience Knowledge of irrigation hydraulics Low-voltage electrical troubleshooting experience Automotive, diesel, plumbing, pool/spa, utility, or industrial maintenance experience Experience with smart irrigation controllers and water management systems Backflow certification Irrigation certification What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who: Works safely and deliberately Takes ownership of problems and solutions Pays attention to details Understands that small mistakes can have significant impacts Values quality workmanship over shortcuts Is comfortable working independently or as a team Takes pride in diagnosing and solving difficult problems Maintains a professional appearance and attitude Treats customers, property, equipment, and fellow team members with respect We believe the best irrigation technicians are not necessarily the fastest—they are the most aware, the most accurate, efficient and the most dependable.

Performance Based Bonuses Job Types:

$24.08 - $29.15 per hour Expected hours: 15 - 45 per week
