Responsibilities Assist with planting, pruning, thinning, and harvesting orchard crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yield Operate farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including welding and basic mechanical troubleshooting Manage animal husbandry tasks for any livestock or animals present on the farm, ensuring proper care and handling Use hand tools and power tools for various tasks including fencing, equipment repair, and general maintenance Monitor orchard conditions, including irrigation systems and soil health, making adjustments as needed for optimal growing conditions Support overall farm operations by lifting heavy loads, managing growing environments such as greenhouses or outdoor plots, and assisting with crop rotation activities Requirements Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, or farm machinery maintenance. Experience with horticulture, greenhouse management, or crop growing practices is highly desirable Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to irrigation and fertilization schedules Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions Knowledge of irrigation systems, farm machinery operation, and general farm maintenance procedures Join us in cultivating a thriving orchard environment where your skills grow alongside our crops.
