Summary:
The Cultivation Specialist I is a key role in Green Dot Labs (GDL) cultivation facilities. The goal of this position is to support the cultivation process of GDL's cannabis with the utmost care via advanced cultivation methodologies, detailed record keeping and maintaining an organized and pathogen free workspace. This position requires a self-motivated individual with attention to detail and strong communication skills. This position will report to the Cultivation Supervisor.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all City, County and State Regulations including but not limited to the Bureau of Marijuana Licensing Adult-Use Marijuana Program Rules for Licensed Premises, Transport & Storage, Business Records, Labeling, Packaging & Safety, Testing etc. The Cultivation Specialist is responsible for adhering to workplace compliance and following all current State and City regulations, Safety regulations and GDL Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.

SDS Cultivation:
Tend to clones, vegetative and flowering plants including feeding, transplanting, pruning and any other care Report any issues occurring with seedlings, clones, flowering/vegetative plants, their health cycle, timing of transplants, etc. Assist in harvesting, drying and curing of GDL cannabis as directed Execute IPM processes as directed Update production logs (daily checklists, IPM, maintenance, etc.) as directed Cross train and provide support at other regional cultivation facilities as needed
Maintenance:
Clean all work areas including the office, storage, administrative and areas surrounding the building Maintain a clean and operable grow area by keeping all equipment tools and facility in working condition Perform waste management duties for both "green waste" and regular trash Other maintenance tasks including assisting with HVAC, electrical and plumbing/irrigation projects
Additional:
Open and closing duties including arming/disarming alarm system and starting/ending operation specific processes Pick up supplies from local vendors as needed Provide support on special projects upon request Attend all training as required by city, county and state Attend all additional training as requested Maintain compliance with city, county and state regulations Maintain up to date knowledge of rules and processes related to compliance and tracking systems Specifications of the
Position:
Standard 40-hour work week possibly including weekends as needed Working hours will be spent in the cultivation facility Moderate physical activity such walking and lifting is required daily (able to lift at least 60 pounds, able to stand for long periods of time, able to bend, push, pull and reach) Safety gear and PPE, such as sunglasses, gloves, goggles, N95 masks, ear protection and safety footwear must be worn on a regular basis

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Possess physical dexterity necessary to work with small and delicate products (clones and trimmings) Work efficiently, manages time effectively Able to identify problems or malfunctions with equipment Understand and identify plant issues Trained on and experience with safety procedures and guidelines (PPE, OSHA, Fire and HazMat) Moderate physical activity such walking and lifting is required daily (able to lift at least 60 pounds, able to stand for long periods of time, able to bend, push, pull and reach) Familiarity with commercial agricultural practices & systems such as propagation techniques, irrigation, greenhouse production Familiarity with cannabis anatomy and physiology; needs of specific growth phases, diagnosing nutritional toxicities/deficiencies, identifying signs of over/underwatering, communicating with proper and standardized terminology, etc.
Education, Experience, & Other Requirements:
