Skilled Irrigation Technician — Lead-Level Installer Thrive and Grow Gardens Tucson, AZ Job Details Full-time $27 - $35 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Sprinkler systems Field service Drip irrigation Self-directed learning Technical troubleshooting support Supervisor experience within building materials installation industry Full Job Description We're a growing, design-focused garden and irrigation company in the Tucson area looking for an experienced irrigation technician to join our install team. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who can show up, read a plan, and install a complete system — mainline, valve manifolds, valve boxes, controllers, drip and spray zones — to a high standard without being walked through it. What you'll be doing: Installing full irrigation systems on residential and small commercial projects alongside our lead installer and laborers Setting valve boxes and manifolds cleanly and serviceably Programming and wiring controllers (smart controllers included) Troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field Owning the quality of the work you put in the ground What we're looking for: Real experience installing complete irrigation systems (not just trenching or assisting) Solid working knowledge of valves, manifolds, controllers, wiring, and both drip and spray design Physically capable of the work — this is real labor in Arizona conditions Takes pride in clean, serviceable installations that will still look right when the box is opened five years from now Coachable and willing to learn our systems and standards, even if you've done it a different way before Reliable, on time, and good to work with What we offer: Competitive pay based on experience — we pay well for skilled people Steady, year-round work (we're booked out and turning projects away) A small, tight crew that does quality work and takes care of each other A path to lead your own crew as we continue to grow If you've been running irrigation jobs for years and want to work somewhere your skill is actually valued, send a quick note about your experience and we'll set up a conversation.
