I'm Miriam (she/them), and I run the farm with part-time workers and occasional field help from my parents. We sometimes collaborate with a local Biodynamic winery, though our main properties are not certified. We use no pesticides or herbicides and farm using a blend of intensive market gardening and Bob Cannard's "Green String" philosophy—50% for humans, 50% for nature. We sell directly to restaurants and grow a wide range of specialty crops, including edible flowers, fruit, and niche produce. We rely on a mix of hand labor and small machines, so speed, accuracy, and care are critical to profitability. We are actively moving toward low-till/no-till practices and are always learning about our soil, biome, and the diverse plants we grow.
